Line-up

The album's third, Turn Back, marked a return to the classic sextet format of previous albums and was a more ferocious, consistent effort with an edge that was more pronounced than Hydra. Its more punk-rock sound reflected the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's improved proficiency on the drums, as well as an improved, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams.
