Components
Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets in order to provide an extra stat boost or impact while they're being used. These can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors, trading or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment with a slot for them; the item upgrades must be at least upgraded to the blue level in order for the component to be applied.
