Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display an open window that displays the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading The game will then place the Item Upgrader Kit in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
