Tips For Explaining Item Upgrading To Your Boss
Path of Exile Item Upgrading
The most effective way to upgrade your equipment in Path of Exile is through item upgrades. This allows you to enhance your gear without having to depend on costly trades or drops. This article will teach you how to upgrade your items efficiently.
Upgrades to equipment provide an increase in the item's stats. This bonus scales with the upgrade component level and rarity.
Components
Upgrade components make your armour and weapons better. You can acquire them by destroying enemies, finding them in item spheres or buying them from karma dealers. They can also be salvaged from equipment that has them, or through an advanced salvage kit such as the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool. In contrast to other items upgrades aren't destroyed when they are removed from an item.
Upgrade components are mostly used to upgrade item an item but they can also be used for other reasons. They can be used to boost the value of an item that can be upgraded or they can be used to enhance the experience gained by upgrading an existing weapon or piece of gear. They can be made for extra bonuses. For example, a crafted glyph will boost the upgrade chance of its target, while an upgrade boost will boost the defense or attack quality of a weapon or armor.
Selecting an upgrade template in the GUI will let you bind it to an item. This will show a list of upgrade components that the item can be upgraded to. You can also use the workbench for selecting an upgrade template. In either scenario, an item will be upgraded when enough upgrade components have been gathered.
Each component has a unique experience multiplier. This determines the amount of experience an item gains when upgraded using the component. For instance, organic components have a an experience multiplier that is higher than mechanical ones. It is recommended to upgrade your organic components first until you reach the next level in the weapon or equipment, and then move on to mechanical upgrades.
Each item has an upgrade limit number that can be received. The number of items that are upgradeable is determined by their upgradeable rank, and the kind of upgrade they can receive. For instance, the highest possible upgrade for a weapon is a weapon with tier 10. The most popular weapon upgrade is a gun of tier 6 and an armor upgrade for tier 5.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that share the same bonus. Each item in the set can be upgraded at least one time, and the upgrade increases its guaranteed bonuses. The first time you upgrade the set piece or weapon, it will receive an increase of +1 to its primary stat. On subsequent upgrades the primary stats will be boosted a bit further (for example, +1 to 12+/13+/14+), and each time you upgrade the item with an additional stats is increased randomly.
Upgrades can also increase a weapon's damage base. This can be crucial for certain types of weapons. Weapons cannot be upgraded for a higher maximum defence roll than their base. Upgrades can be a great method to increase the value of a set and unique items, however it's important to note that they may not be better than a high-level runeword in any build.
If an item you're upgrading has a guaranteed bonus it is able to be rerolled once and its guarantee will be reset to 0. The same amount of power dies are used to reroll an item, just as it would be to increase its level. However the new item comes with different bonuses. Upgrading can be done at the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine. To upgrade an item, you'll require a power die of each type (Dice 4 or 6 drop from monsters 21+ and Giants; Dice 7 drops from bosses) and the appropriate amount of Minerals and Erons. These are available at the crafting table or in the Ultra Collector, and can be purchased with Gold. NPCs also offer special rewards for each completed stage of the upgrade process. The reward can be rerolled one time with the same materials as the original item.
Rerolling
A player can reroll any Item upgrade acquired during the game, provided they have enough tokens to do so. When an item is rerolled it will be replaced by the same level in another set. Reroll tokens are available from the store for a small amount of in-game currency, but they are not refundable. The new item upgraded will still come with the extra bonuses of the original one however its stats will differ also.
Players can change the identity of equipment in addition to rerolling it by interacting with a NPC upgrader. The equipment's identification will change from a weapons to armor or reverse it. Its base requirements and stats remain the same. The change will be permanent and will affect all characters who have the equipment.
Players can also boost the level of their item on any equipped device by obtaining upgrade items and conversing with the item's upgrader NPC. This will cost a certain amount of crests as well as Valorstones according to the upgrade track and item kind. Each upgrade will add an additional 5% of damage to weapons.
An upgrade can make it more powerful however, it can also decrease its quality. It is therefore important to strike a balance between the two. Some items may not be worth upgrading at all however, others will need to be upgraded to maximize their potential. One player may wish to upgrade breakpoint armor with an interesting modifier (% block chance or FHR) to explore what else it can be.
The primary reason why people play rerolls in Genshin Impact, or in any gacha-based game is because they're trying to get a specific character or weapon that they can't otherwise obtain. These items can be costly and time-consuming and the RNG gods do not always want to play ball. The only alternative is to invest money or grind extensively. Rerolling is a popular feature in Genshin Impact.
Leveling
You can decide to upgrade the weapon or armor when upgrading an item. But, this feature does absolutely nothing in the current game. I believe it was designed to to increase the value of rare items, but since the majority of gear drops quickly and is only upgraded after a certain amount of levels and you'll typically replace the item before it becomes old enough. It's not worth it to upgrade items that have gem sockets as the power of the gem will far outweigh the increase in ilvl with the upgrade.
When you click the upgrade option on an item upgrade, you'll see a small window with the upgrade template for the item and the cost of crest and Valorstone to increase the item level. Weapons and armor will have different prices, with the latter usually being more expensive. The upgrade template outlines the stats to be added to an upgraded item, and also the current ilvl.
The cost of the Valorstone and Crest is calculated using the item's current Ilvl and the upgrade templates. The ilvl will also be decreased by the upgrade templates reduction percentage for lvl. For example weapons with an increase of 8% will reduce its ilvl by 8 - 8 percent.
The item upgrader kit will be upgraded to other stats, such as critical strike damage, PvE damages, and block, parry, and dodge rating in addition to the base level. The increases are also dependent on the upgrade template.
The amount of damage and defense that the item is able to receive when leveled up can be observed below the cost and upgrade decrease percentages in the upgrade template window. Apart from the practice equipment, all items and armor get these same stats when upgraded. The value of these additional stats will be determined by the market, with a perfectly rolled perfect version of a weapon or piece of armor is able to command more in trade value than unupp'd versions. The same applies to other armor pieces such as circlets or Tiaras.
