Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item upgrader kit, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost the level of an item upgrade by increasing its stats and abilities. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item upgrader mod is attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be applied in addition to an appropriate amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can place an item to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade Tokens.

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.

Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but for the fact that it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will put an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
