Speak "Yes" To These 5 Item Upgrade Tips
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original item level upgrade's level, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To create them, you need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade items, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in battle without straining their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. However, there are numerous ways to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at once. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be used in addition to an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item upgrader mod is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the kind of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade element is added to an item, it can't be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item level upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
