Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A special item can be used to evolve specific Pokemon. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc and is sometimes given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools to increase their item upgrade level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the type of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to add attribute bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a specific level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are added to an equipment piece. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, purchased by karma merchants or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and received as rewards.

A variety of upgrade components are available, each offering various bonuses. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, can be used on any kind of equipment; they provide smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on legendary and non-amulet items, while enhancements can be utilized on certain back equipment that has been ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced if they are slotted into an item upgrader mod, however doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be used in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and replaced.

Insignias, enchantments, and upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item, while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia will change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters, as well as regular glyphs like em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols, as well as characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph gives a character boost in primary stats. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats which will alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the item you have selected. You are only able to apply the correct Glyph to the item upgrader you are looking for. Every weapon or jewelry piece has its own collection of Glyphs.

You can upgrade your Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a Glyph has reached the desired level you can activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will offer its stated bonus and will increase the number of nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed where they will benefit your building the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonuses when certain conditions are fulfilled.

Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs by choosing an option beneath "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a method in which you create a new account to give yourself more chances to pull the character or weapon you are interested in. It is done to for you to increase your level faster or to get better loot such as the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players roll again until they find the characters that they like regardless of their abilities. This could be because they like the character's style or their personality.

When you reroll, you need be sure that the changes you are making are safe. You should test locally to see if the patch passes pre-commit and run a Core dev check. You should also upload the patch to an issue with plain diff (see What's the deal with an interdiff? ).

Rerolls could take days or weeks to complete, depending on the luck you have. To speed up the process be sure to avoid enemy camps that are optional during this time. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests which can be completed later on in the game. This can save you time and energy.

Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is making sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's appearance and strength. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. Additionally, it is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the upgrade system.

Rerolling isn't a mandatory aspect of the game, however it can be beneficial to increase the chances of winning an item upgrader kit or character. It can be helpful when you're trying to find the most effective character in the game or if you want to try different play styles and builds.

Sets

A set is an object collection having two common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets are used for operations such as union, intersection and differences.

When you upgrade a set item, it becomes a different version of itself that is better than the previous one. This means that armor and weapons will have a greater defense value and less requirement for strength.

Upgrades can bring well-known items from single sets to the same level as those in higher-level sets. Upgrades such as Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will increase the defense from 217 up to 321 and decrease the strength requirements and level requirements to a more acceptable range.

It's important to remember that not all items in a set can be upgraded. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own right and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their performance. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
